Brawley is now Superior Management?

Not sure if any one on our board even knows or cares for that matter, but Brawley mgt. has changed and relocated. Superior mgt. is running things. I am not sure if they just changed names or if they merged with another company.

Re: Brawley is now Superior Management?

Wow. What an interesting development. Did they tell you this personally ?
The change might explain their lack of response as you mentioned in your previous post. I guess LM can hardly be blamed for Brawley disappearing, but my goodness, what a bunch of clowns.
I have given up caring about the Neighborhood's finances and must admit ignorance is bliss.

Brawley's website http://www.brawleymanagement.com  is nonexistent by the way - in fact the domain has not been renewed and expires in October this year. They have removed their files from their webhost so any links to their site will be nonexistent.

Interesting to hear from the board as to what is going on. Would a member care to clear this up ? Glad to hear residents are as always being kept abreast of changes.

Re: Brawley is now Superior Management?

Saw the newsletter in the mailbox yesterday and the Brawley contact information was there clear as day. It might be possible that the L-M board hasn't been notified of the change, but I would think Brawley would have told someone.

The folks at Bumgardner must be getting chuckle out of it though.

Re: Brawley is now Superior Management?

I spoke to Cassey Brawley abuot 9:30 A.M. yesterday, I called his cell because of no answer at the office. It sounded as if I woke him up, he said the office was relocating and gave me a number to call, when I called they answered as Superior. I spoke to a very nice lady " Susan" I need my pool bands and was speaking to Monica about it on Monday, spoke to Monica who now works with Superior she told me Brawley is now Superior. I will try to find out mor this afternoon when Monica comes by with my pool bands. The new number that I was able to reach Superior is 704-875-7299. Iwill post more when I hear more.

Re: Brawley is now Superior Management?

Yup - so Brawley was recently acquired by Superior Association Management.

Superior was formed by an ex employee of Brawley and grew at a faster pace apparently.
Superior looks to have a "growth by acquisition" policy and this change has been in the pipeline for some time.

I think our Brawley contact Monica is now with Superior so it would make sense if she were still our contact. This is unconfirmed.
Yes, the LM Board has known about this change for some time as Superior (Brawley ?) has been attending the monthly board meetings. (Or so I am told)

The board website mentions Brawley as having "moved offices" - which is contrary to what Superior told me on the phone.

I am sure though there is nothing new to worry about - you'll receive the same level of service from this new crowd.

Care to elaborate on this? I wasn't aware that we were getting any level of service from the management company.

We used to see cars in the neighborhood with "Baumgardner Management" on the side but do not recall seeing any from Superior or Brawley.

I still see the same cars with expired/no tags sitting in driveways, metal sheds in backyards, etc.

Re: Brawley is now Superior Management?

DY I was being facetious, implying that the service level (good or bad) will not change.

In the 6 years I have lived in the neighborhood I have never once had reason to call the management company though.
Aside from the internal accounting stuff, there is simply nothing a management company can help with that you can't get done better by 311.

Re: Brawley is now Superior Management?

I Think it is time for some good change. We need to unite as a neighborhood, form our own group and manage the neighborhood ourselves. If we work together we can save a lot of money and get things done without waiting for an outsiders approval. The first step is to change the board, seeing they only listen to people if they are in there "click" and everyone else must do as they say not as they do. They are bullies not a board, they should be doing anything & everything to help others not hurt them.
